While preparing for internship during seminary, I spent a summer working with elementary-school aged children in Northeast Philadelphia.  The summer program was provided through Lutheran Children and Family Service at the Lincoln Family Center (Thomas Holme Elementary School).  I supervised activities and built relationships with children in a safe and caring environment.
